Geralt of Rivia searches for Ciri while war tears through the Northern Kingdoms and the Wild Hunt follows her trail. The journey crosses the swamps of Velen, the streets of Novigrad, and the Skellige Isles, where even a modest contract can unfold into someone else’s family tragedy.

Dialogue and decisions shape the fate of characters and the outcome of individual storylines. Their effects may surface much later, so returning to a familiar place can reveal what an earlier choice set in motion. Remastered updates the visuals, skill tree and combat animations. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are included.

Game features

  • Reworked skills. The new skill tree gives each skill three levels and requires you to learn earlier skills before unlocking their successors. Existing saves remain compatible, but the update resets allocated skill points so you can assign them again.
  • Combat camera and animations. A dynamic combat camera helps keep opponents in view. Geralt and Roach have revised animations, new finishers have been added, and several regular enemy types have updated attacks and reactions.
  • Equipment appearance. Transmogrification lets Joanna and Hattori change an item’s appearance without changing its attributes. Collecting gear and diagrams unlocks more appearances.
  • PC graphics. Remastered uses a multithreaded DirectX 12 renderer with revised lighting, foliage and materials. Path tracing, DLSS 4.5, FSR 4 and XeSS 2 depend on compatible graphics hardware.
  • Looting and photo mode. Nearby loot can share one window, and Geralt can collect items while riding. Meditation shows time passing in the world. Photo mode adds characters, poses and weather controls.
  • Optional voice packs. English and Russian voices are included in the base client. German, French, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese voices are separate downloads. Text is available in 18 languages.
